Baptist Medical Center had existing wayfinding issues resulting from many years of continual expansion of its downtown campus located in a historical overlay district. In an effort to resolve these issues, engaged Image Resource Group to provide design and construction management services for an exterior wayfinding system. Developing a strategy to direct traffic to the most conveniently located garage based on the visitor’s destination, traffic flow and parking efficiencies were greatly improved.
In addition to the design and implementation of all exterior wayfinding solutions, IRG provided design and implementation services for wayfinding, graphics and signage in the renovated portions of the hospital. IRG also provided wayfinding implementation services for the new construction and worked closely with Stanley Beaman & Sears Architects who were responsible for the design of all interior wayfinding, signage and graphics for the new 11 story tower.
